War in the Big Brother House

War has broken out in the Big Brother house, so watch your step.

Rachel has decided to exercise a power she won from the basement: the power to declare war on the current Head of Household. This is how the power works:

"If you decide to use your power, you will face the HoH in a 1 on 1 competition. If you lose the competition, the HoH's nominations will stand. If you win, you will be able to remove one nominee of your choice and replace him or her with a houseguest of your choice. In doing so, both you and the person you save will be immune for the week. If you are on the block, you may remove yourself.

You will be facing off in a game of battleship. Here are the rules:

"You will both have 5 ships to place on a 10 X 10 grid.

Aircraft Carrier (5 squares long)
Battleship (4 squares long)
Destroyer (3 squares long)
Submarine (3 squares long)
Patrol Boat (2 squares long)

You will take turns guessing coordinates in order to find the other person's ships. If someone hits a space where one of your ships is, declare "hit." If not, declare "miss." The first person to sink all 5 of their opponent's ships will win the competition."

Because Jessica and Rachel could not be on at the same time today, they played the game separately. They each guessed each other's coordinates until all their opponent's ships were sunk. The person to do this in the least number of guesses would be the winner.

Here are the results:

Jessica: 53 guesses
Rachel: 47 guesses

With that, RACHEL is the winner. She has decided to change one of the Head of Household's nominations.

Rachel: "I choose to remove Chelsia from the block and nominate Eddie.

Even though I do not agree with what Chelsia has done and I have voiced my opinion on this. She is in my alliance and I feel I owe it to her to remove her from the block. Sorry Jessica, if things were reversed and you were on the block I would do the same thing."
