Pregame Thoughts

So, I'm quite excited to have been cast. I haven't played an ORG for well over a year, and I'm looking forward to the competition. Honestly, I'm not sure how well I will do. I am quite removed from the ORG community, and if there are a lot of other cast members who know each other, I'm afraid I might be coming in with a bit of a disadvantage.

I will work my hardest though. I think I might lay low for the first round, just to get a feel for the game and the players. After that, I will likely try to find a solid alliance. I am a firm believer in finding an alliance from the beginning. Let's see what happens, and hopefully I will be around for a while.

So, I tried talking to a few of the people. Here are some thoughts about those I talked with:

Joshuah- He wasn't very talkative. Perhaps he's just shy, but I got the feeling that I was bothering him and I didn't even say that much.

Drew- He seemed like a cool guy. Apparently he just finished a Big Brother and didn't do too well. He's from UK and claimed that it's harder to get online at the same time as those from US. He's cool though, hopefully I can talk to him more and learn more about him.

Rachel- I talked to her for like 30 seconds, but she seemed really nice. She wasn't cold. She was very friendly and said we should talk later. I think she might be a social player, so I'd like to get to know her and see if she's a potential ally.

Nicole- Very level-headed and nice. We have a few things in common, which is good. I think she is a few year older than me, and her maturity is evident. I have a hunch that she'll be a tough competitor. Seems to have the whole package... she's smart and nice, but not too overwhelming.

Scott- We exchanged a few PMs. He's the only one that made first contact with me rather than me making first contact. Perhaps this means he's as anxious to begin as I am. Though, I wish I could talk to him via AIM. It'd be much better and quicker.

Jason- I didn't talk to him, but I did PM him. After reading a bit about each of the actual Big Brother players to try to "size up" the competition, I found that Jason seemed like someone I could easily get along with. If only the real person behind him is actually like Jason. We'll see how that one pans out.

So... overall, so far so good. I probably am coming off as a bit too enthusiastic, but I am not going to let the fact that I don't know anybody stop me from winning. For now, I just need to be able to gage everyone so that I can start to formulate my strategy. I just need to be careful not to appear too dominant or competitive. It'd be bad to get a target put on me from the start. Anyways... I can't wait to get this game started. Bring on the challenge!!!
